Sea excursion - Phare I

The departure of the boat tours is from Longue-Pointe-de-Mingan. Each boat has a capacity of 12 persons. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours. During the trip, an educational sea urchin fishing demonstration is made. Once on board, head to the île aux Perroquets under the theme: An island, a lighthouse, birds ... a stop of 45 minutes with an interpreter for Parks Canada, including a presentation of the lighthouse on île aux Perroquets. Favorite spot for watching sea birds. Of these, the Atlantic Puffin is unquestionably the bird who steals the show. His air of little clown and his colorful beak make him one of the most fascinating birds of the islands.

Then, everyone on board, destination l'Île Nue, under the theme "Beyond appearances ..." a 1 hour stop, accompanied by an interpreter of Canada Parks. This island is a unique place to admire the forces of nature. With a northern landscape similar to the tundra, its appearance is bare, where only a few small shrubs and monoliths seem to have taken root. Back to port with the head full of exceptional scenery and unique meeting with puffins, gray seals, minke whales ...
