The company started in 1992 with the construction of the shop Souvenir Archipel Mingan inc. During summer, a need was identified to provide accommodation in the region.

In 1993, the first two houses are built and then a tour service begins and allows visitors to explore the islands of the Mingan Archipelago and the region.

Marius Vibert, an experienced man at sea, deals with excursions. He is very familiar with the sea and the region which enable him to offer customized and interesting tours. With over 40 years experience on a boat, he knows the details that make an interesting trip, whether for whale watching or photographing nature or unique landscapes.

Over time, Marius began offering customized trips (VIP); he particularly enjoys offering tours to visitors. Marius is an explorer at heart, the sea still attracts him; when the autumn comes and he goes to explore the forests.

In 1995, two more houses are built following the high demand for accommodation in the region. In 1999, the resort is taking shape and today consists of 8 houses and 5 motel rooms.

Danielle Kavanagh is the daughter of the last lighthouse keeper, and has lived all her summers on the île aux Perroquets that opens the door of Mingan. She spent 19 years of his childhood with the sea; the ocean is her playground. Her passion is to greet people and introduce them to her little corner of paradise. It shows through in her paintings also. Marius and Danielle have been married for over 35 years and remain strongly together in the life of every day..

The resort today is a dream come true and continues to happen every day ... Danielle and Marius personally invite you to visit them, they will be happy to welcome you!
